Neri&Hu was given a brief to design a light that is both sculptural and practical. This product was inspired by the traditional lectern, which features a slanted wooden plane used as a platform for liturgical books or musical scores. Neri&Hu crafted stone profiles in two different shapes to serve as supports for important reading documents, as well as bases for lighting attachments.The light element can be positioned in various ways within the holder using a hook attachment.Different lighting effects for various scenarios can be created through the interaction between the light and stone profile.
